It was in kindergarten that I decided I wanted to be an art teacher.  I first started my career teaching Art in New Haven, CT.  In New Haven I taught Art to grades pre-K3 thru 8th grade, worked one-on-one with trauma students and was the site coordinator for an Art outreach program geared towards helping low income, foster and shelter care children.  A couple of years later, I began teaching Art at an elementary school in Stamford, CT, working as the Art Director at the Pathfinders Adventure Camp and teaching private Art lessons to children and adults.  My classroom Art projects use a variety of different subject integrations, Art History, understanding of the elements of Art, fine motor development skills and Art Therapy techniques,  I am a firm believer in the fact that everyone is an artist - some people just need a little more guidance.
